High level energy-efficient construction project in partnership with BC Housing, Columbia Basin Trust, CMHC and the Valemount Learning Society, and with the support of the Village of Valemount, this 13-unit affordable housing development is fresh on the market fall of 2021!
Juniper Square 2 offers a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units and each come with appliances (including washer and dryer), a storage locker, private entrances, and one parking spot per unit. We accept a variety of income ranges, up to “moderate” income levels as defined by BC Housing (as of September 2021, those numbers are $75,730 for 1-bedroom or $117,080 for 2- or 3-bedrooms). We require a full declaration of income and assets at time of move-in, and yearly reviews for subsidized units.
Rent level calculations by the committee will be placed into the 3 BC Housing categories of Deep Subsidy, RGI (Rent Geared to Income), or Market Rent, depending on unit availability and applicant.
There is an oversubscribed wait list for the 1 bedroom apartments but zero waitlist for the 2 and 3 bedroom suites!
